Club Development Vision Statement
Club development is key to maintain and improve the health
of any football club within a community
Sustainable football clubs need enough participants, both on and off the field of play, as well as an effective club structure, good facilities and league and cup competitions.
Areas a club development committee could find themselves involved in reviewing from time to time are:
- Club Structure
- Club Facilities
- Club Affiliation
- Club Vision
- Club Status & Accreditation
- Team Development
- Workforce Development (volunteers & coaches)
- School – Club Links
- Communication & Marketing, Profile of the Club
The Development Committee members are:
- Paul Spooner 01252-341666
- Tony Hutt 01276-503255
If you have a son or daughter in our club and would like to join our development committee please let us know via the contact page.
The Development Committee, as a sub committee of the Executive committee, will meet at least once a month and update / report to the Executive Committee with details of work in progress and in turn to the Managers of the club.
Our main driver is to look into the possibility of securing larger club facilities to use alongside our home ground at Bellew Road. Our secondary driver will be to make sure MAFC are in a strong position to move forward when such an opportunity arises.
The Club Development Vision Statement has been agreed by the Development Committee (4th June 2009) and the Executive Committee (30th June 2009)
