Lockdown 2

Dear Parents and Players,

As a result of the UK Government’s new national Covid-19 restrictions, grassroots football in England will be suspended from Thursday 5 November 2020 until Wednesday 2 December 2020.

This will mean no fixtures or training between these dates for any age group from Mini-kickers to Adult football. The Club Executive and Covid Committee are, like you, disappointed with the suspension but we would all agree if we act accordingly and support these restrictions, we would hope to resume all activities from Thursday the 3rd of December.

Our intended second instalment on fees is suspended and will be reviewed in December, when we have an
understanding of the league position and the fixtures that can be accommodated until the end of the season.

As a club we would remind all team coaches and managers against any casual meetups during lockdown for an ad-hoc training session. The club will not sanction any such activities and we would ask parents and players to alert us to any infringement of the rules or activities of concern during the period.

Important contact details

Restarting football at these levels has taken some hard work from everyone in the club and I would like to thank everyone for their contributions. However, health and wellbeing remain the priority, so it is extremely important that players, coaches, volunteers, parents, carers and clubs adhere to the UK Government’s new national Covid-19 restrictions during this period.
