Thank you to all those who supported the event. It was well attended with 33 players from U11-U13s giving lots of playing time, with a futsal ball, a low bounce ball designed for indoor use.
Picking the players into National sides with parent managers gave the coaches a chance to run the tournament. A big thank you to the parents who volunteered.
With Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany, England and Finland in the single group it was a surprise to have England top the group and then go out in the knock-out stage (no penalties this time!).
The winners on the day were Germany (again), the team made up of Morgan Y, Harry B, Michael L, Sam L, Jacob S, and Callum B.
We would like to say a big thank you to the 2 referees from our under 16s, Jamie and Robbie, and also to Clive, Graham and Karen for helping to organise the day.
Same again next year, with some additional players.
