Surrey FA have asked us to help spread the word about the next big thing in football for the over 50s!
Walking Football sessions will be starting on Wednesday 18th September at Lightwater Leisure Centre on the 3G artificial pitch.
The game is a walking version of football aimed at the over 50s but anyone can join in. There are great health benefits as well as the obvious appeal of getting back into some proper football – for the first time in years in some cases.
Walking is a fantastic way of keeping players in the game who may be struggling for fitness or have past injuries but don’t want to be sidelined, literally!
Each session is a great mix of technical work with the ball and loads of match time all in a safe and secure environment.
