Mytchett Athletic FC’s ‘Football for All’ squad would like to send a big THANK YOU to ‘The Children with Special Needs Foundation’ for their fantastic £1500 donation that will allow us to continue this project into the 2013/14 season.
‘The Children with Special Needs Foundation’ raises much needed funds to support individuals, groups and schools in their requests for equipment, holidays and tuition and to provide essential care for children with special needs in Surrey, East Berkshire and North Hampshire. This also includes assisting very talented children who are finding it difficult to reach their true potential without support.
When presenting the cheque Gordon Parris, Chairman of the Foundation stated “The Children With Special Needs Foundation were delighted to present to Mytchett Athletic FC’s ‘Football For All’ football team a cheque for £1500 which will pay for coaching and training during 2014. They were so delighted to see many of the children from the schools we support were members of the team.
It is good to see so many special needs children taking part in sport.”
In reply, Mytchett Athletic FC spokesman stated, ‘Without such contribution we would not be able to continue this valuable work in the Community’.
