Last Sunday Jim Rapley ran the Fleet half marathon.
On the hottest day of the year so far, and dressed as the Aldershot FC Phoenix mascot (just to make the course a little tougher) Jim carried a bucket with which he collected money for Step by Step, a charity helping homeless people find work.
Fantastic effort Jim, and on behalf of the Exec Committee at Mytchett Athletic, a big well done.
Jim’s next challenge is the London marathon, so look out Mo Farah!
